Less is more.
-
The current national in-person exam fee cost ranges from $65-80. ZOU cuts this cost by at least 30%. Less costs on our end translates to less costs on your end.
-
An average client spends just under an hour at their vet clinic for only a 20 to 30 minute exam. Our exams last 20 minutes and there’s no drive time to your nearest clinic and no waiting in loud, stressful waiting rooms. We appreciate that your time is valuable.
-
There’s been numerous studies on pet stress levels at the vet. Somewhere around at least 41% of dogs are fearful at the vet clinic. This number almost doubles for cats. It’s our duty to do our best by our animals. If we can provide them stress-free primary care at home, we should.
-

Vomiting & Diarrhea
A classic, and one of the top 10 reasons year after year that pets require veterinary attention. Many times, it’s a simple upset stomach, and ZOU can help!
-

Skin Allergies & Infections
An increasingly popular offender among patients. Skin disease is often a one time or seasonal problem that can be managed at home with the right medication.
-

Arthritis & Mobility
It affects us as we age, and our pets are sadly no different. There are tons of management methods out there and ZOU can help find the right recipe for your pet.
-

Dental Disease
If you didn’t brush your teeth everyday, your breath would smell just like your dog’s. It may not be practical to brush the K-9s daily, but we can help you manage dental disease before surgical intervention is needed.
These are only some of the most common reasons for sick visits that ZOU can help with. Anxiety, diet, nutrition, ears, and more, there’s a lot we can help guide you on at home to manage whatever your pet might be struggling with.
The Boring Stuff.
The logistics of applying modern technology to veterinary medicine are at the same time, both simple and messy. Laws governing remote or telemedicine for veterinary medicine differ state by state.
Currently, only a handful of states allow a doctor to diagnose, treat, and prescribe, but most at least allow general veterinary advice and consult. Our doctors are licensed to practice in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Florida recently legalized full telemedicine for pets and pet owners. If you live in a state that does not allow diagnosing, prescribing, and treating via telemedicine, or in a state we are not licensed in, we will consult with you to figure out the best plan forward for your pet.
Regardless of where you might live, ZOU can help navigate the current issues your pet is facing. Let us know how we can help.
